Stack coding
Directly printing the stack with an ATD Inkjet
Printing System has many benefits:
ATD can supply Stack Coding Systems for both automated
and manual stack take-offs.
For automatic takeoffs:
- stack printed in one pass (up to 5 metres
length).
- printheads mounted in floating housings to
track any stack or board mis-alignment
- fully guarded and interlocked system
- stack information entered manually or via
communications from plant control system
- automatic printhead cleaning
- ink refill whilst printing
For
manual take-offs:
- 3-axis robotic system to print a stationary
stack
- Full stack coverage (up to 5metres x 3metres)
with one printhead printing mutiple passes
