Printing |
| The
environment in the timber and wood industries
is often harsh. However the technology used
in ATD Ink-jet printers is ideally suited
to minimize downtime and maintenance:

|
- Prints with no moving parts
- The Printhead does not touch the timber
- 3-year printhead warranty
- Ink can be replenished without stopping
the printer
- Printheads are automatically maintained
at a constant temperature, even in open
buildings
- ATD printers do not suck in dust-laden
air that could contaminate the ink and
block filters
- ATD printers produce high-resolution
characters that allow maximum information
on small sections
- The small dot-size produced by ATD
printers means almost all the ink remains
close to the surface of the timber (compare
with valve ink-jet systems where the large
drop volume penetrates a large distance
into the timber)
- ATD inks dry by absorption, not by
the evaporation of volatile organic solvents
(VOCs) into the working environment
- ATD inks are environmentally friendly,
non-flammable and are supplied in self-sealing
bottles.
- UV Fade-resistant inks are available
for timber stored in direct sunlight
